BACK PAIN & BABY COLIC
"I have recently moved to Fowey and two weeks after my recent move and having a baby I woke up one day unable to walk due to severe back pain. I was fortunate enough to find Rebecca at Fowey Bowen Therapy who I can honestly say was my life saviour. On meeting Rebecca at my first appointment she was professional, friendly and empathetic. At this point I was unable to walk, bend down and was in severe pain. After my first appointment I can honestly say it was like a miracle. My mobility increased and pain level decreased dramatically. I have seen Rebecca three more times and I am now completely pain free. I would recommend Rebecca as a Bowen therapist to anyone. I honestly don’t know where I would be now if I hadn’t met her and had the treatment. Rebecca also kindly treated my 6 week old baby as she was suffering from dreadful colic. Almost instantly my daughter was much better and the colic had eased. I will definitely use Rebecca again in the future and have recommended her to all of my family and friends. Thank you Rebecca, you and the treatment you have provided has been wonderful".

"I had been diagnosed with Polymyalgia Rheumatica in July 2015 and had to take steroids to mask the pain, however I managed to gradually come off them after14 months, only to have a flare up a couple of weeks later. I was in a lot of pain and as I hated the thought of going back on steroids I found Fowey Bowen Therapy. After several treatments I was beginning to feel pain free, the simple things like :
Putting on a coat
on and off the toilet
Pulling the duvet up when in bed
Hanging out clothes
Lifting grandchildren
Even lifting grandchildren on and off swings
All these were giving me so much pain in shoulders arms and knees. However I have just come back from a very active holiday to Switzerland which included a lot of train travel. In act I have been on a total of 30 trains over 8 days. I have returned home feeling brilliant, I enjoyed the holiday sooo much especially as having no flare ups. And it's so reassuring having not to take any medication not even painkillers. Rebecca has been brilliant and helped me a lot and of course now I have so much energy. I can thoroughly recommend Bowen Treatment".

"Rebecca has absolutely worked her Bowen magic on my son Brodie. He had quite alot of issues with reflux from the day he was born pretty much and also gets constipated. Baby Bowen has really helped him and whenever we go and see Rebecca he leaves SO happy and content. "I heard about the Bowen Therapy years ago but didn't get around to finding a practitioner until a work colleague told me about how it had helped her, after just one session. I've lived with low level pain in my lower back and leg for years, interspersed with periods of more severe and debilitating pain. I rarely use painkillers, resorting to them only when my back 'went' and I went into spasm, then being rendered immobile for a couple of days. I put it down to sciatica and when my right knee also started to give me pain, considered it part of the same issue. After one visit with Rebecca, I knew that what she was doing for me was helping. I think that it was after my third session that I awoke the next day, totally pain free! It remained for a few days and I was incredulous...this hadn't happened in years and it felt so good. I am still seeing Rebecca; my body will take time to reach optimum balance and recover from the tension and discomfort it has tolerated for so long. I still have aches and pains after gardening, etc but I'm improving and my day to day life is better than it has been in such a long time. I have hope and positivity now and that's such a powerful feeling! I would recommend giving Bowen a try. Rebecca is calm, kind and knowledgeable about what she does and can offer advice on many areas of health and nutrition".

"Having had back trouble for some forty years, and for the last two years, up to my treatment really bad (I had trouble putting my underpants on, terrible trouble putting my socks on, a job wiping myself on the toilet, if I carried a bag I suffered later). The pain was lower back on my left side. I went to Rebecca she told me things about my body that might cause the pain, I was in and treated me. On the seconded visit she said she had lined my body up, or something to that effect, On the 3rd visit I was no better, Rebecca had also put me on Epsom salt baths. It was suggested I went to my doctor and ask for a scan. I had an x-ray, which i was told I would always have this pain, although it may go off but it would come back. In the meantime the pain went, was it due to the treatment, the baths or a combination of both.It was 8 months ago and I have not had a twinge, I paid just over £100 in all which seems a lot, but with the constant pain i was in if any one had said give me 100 and I will take away the pain I would have jumped at it. One point I wish to make it did not happen for about four weeks for me. One other point that has me wondering, I suffer from Menieres Disease, I get three or four 'turns' a year, I have not had a 'turn' since my treatment. Fact. I have not had a back pain in the last 8 months."
